Helping girls move from navigating the world to shaping their future
EmpowerHer is a girls’ empowerment initiative focused on helping young girls develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to make informed decisions and build meaningful futures.
We believe that empowering girls goes beyond telling them to ‘do better’. Girls need access to the right information, supportive relationships, positive role models and opportunities to discover their abilities.
Our work is rooted in a simple belief: a girl’s circumstances, mistakes or past experiences should not determine the limits of her future.

What We Do
Programs that build confidence, skills & agency
Through structured conversations, mentorship and practical learning experiences we address the real issues girls face as they navigate adolescence and young adulthood.
Youth Advocacy
Education and guidance on critical issues facing youth — from health awareness and drug abuse prevention to leadership development — so young people emerge as empowered leaders.

What guides our work
Girls don’t need saving — they need seeing
Many of the girls we meet are already strong. They need someone to mirror that strength back until they believe it themselves.
Empowerment over charity
Charity can create dependence. When you teach a girl a skill or give her knowledge, you give her direction and identity.
Mentorship = access
When girls sit across from women who have walked similar paths, they begin to see possibilities they never imagined.
Safe, consistent community
Growth happens in relationship. We create spaces where girls can be honest, supported and celebrated.
